Founded in 2004, the Audio Foundation was created to support, promote and preserve innovative audio culture (sound art/experimental music/noise/outsider music/drone music) in NZ.
AF is responsible for a number of national initiatives including Altmusic events and tours (Previous events), an Oral History Project, and an MP3 Library of NZ recordings. AF actively promotes the diverse range of activities and philosophies informing contemporary audio culture through the AF List and other means. Please see the "About" page for more information.
