Music from the first scene of Pidato Bunga-Bunga, a work in five movements composed in Yogyakarta, Indonesia for a contemporary dance/theater work by Afrizal Malna and Fitri Setyaningsih. Three dance works by Afrizal and Fitri (PBB, Flight no12, Beras Merah) were featured in a performance under the name of Pidato Bunga-Bunga which toured Indonesia in 2007. The music was created entirely from voice samples of the 5 dancers in the production. Much of the choreography had been designed prior to the music, however there was still considerable room for dialogue between the audio and visual elements during the several months of rehearsal.
