This years Altmusic committee members are Zoe Drayton and Tim Coster, joined by Nigel Wright and Rosy Parlane to provide a powerhouse programme for 2008.
The previous years had been curated according to who was available to NZ through being hosted in Australia and the funding was taken up by flights and fees in this way for international artists. Towards the end of 2007, the committee decided to place more of a priority on NZ artists, bringing up Crude, Antony Milton, Birchville Cat Motel and Sandoz Lab Technicians to play alongside the internationals artists and showcasing Alastair Galbriath and Peer Wright in October '08.
The decision was also made to try and tour the artists who had enough time to other parts of NZ, Daniel Menche and Philip Jeck being hosted in Christchurch and Wellington as well as Auckland.
